Greetings! I served aboard the Bennington from around mid 1969- early
1970, then went to Lemoore, CA., and the Bennigton went to Bremerton,
WA., to be decommishoned. Aboard ship,I was assigned to V-1 division. I
was one of the lucky ones that got some fresh air. Anyway, I was
wondering if you have any knowledge of where I may obtain a "Zippo"
lighter with the Bennington on it. I lost the one I bought in the ships
store many years ago. If you get a chance to reply, I would like to hear
from you. By the way, great web page.
