By Friday afternoon everyone started arriving,
First stop was at the VFW to see our friends, Warren and others.

Actually, when I first got there, I stopped by and saw Tom Bluto, owner of the Naughty Pine Motel, former Bennington select man, and the guy who knows what's going on around town all the time.
First thing Tom asked me was, as usual, "when are you guys coming back here for a full reunion"
My reply was, as usual, "as soon as you build us a new hotel"
WELL, he sprung a trap, and I walked right into it ........................
The night before, they just signed all the permits to build a new Hampton Inn in Bennington !
