The captain wanted a baseball team.
This attachment is a photo of the Bennington team taken in May of 1959 in San Diego.
We played local collages, Marines, and some other ships had teams as I recall.
I'm in the bottom row, second from left.
I knew them all 50 years ago but don't have a clue now.
Hopefully some shipmates will see the photo and fill in some names.
