The first photo was taken 5/68 as CVS-20 departing Pearl Harbor.

My father HTC Anthony J. Cieri, Jr. USN (ret) served on the USS Bennington from 1/25/55 to 4/57 at the time he was ME2 serving in R Division.
In the 1955-56 Cruise Book he is pictured in King Neptune's Court as the pirate.

Bill,

I'm glad you liked the photos.
Thank you for the invitation to the reunion, but unfortunetly, my Dad passed away in May of 1977.
That was when I joined the Navy to honor his memory.

The photos I'm sending are from my Dad's collection.
He collected photos, memoribilia and cruise books from every ship he served in.
I'm glad I inherited this great collection.

I'm sending you photos #3 & #4.

Photo #3 is CVS-20 taken on 8/20/68 in route to Wespac.
