I have finally scanned the pictures that my father took while on NATO Operation Mariner in Sept. of 1953 while aboard The Bennington and the details and pictures of his rescue of Ensign Dickey who crashed his F2H-3 jet on landing on the Bennington and his pictures of the 1953/54 Mediterranean cruise of The Bennington. There are many pictures taken aboard The Wisconsin as The Wisconsin escorted the fleet on its way to England.
