My father, Theodore Boiter, was a Pharmacist's Mate on the USS Bennington during WWII. He always had the attached picture of the ship hanging in our house. It's not dated but would be 1944 or 45. Judging by the wear on the paint I would guess late 1945. If you decide to collect crew pictures also I have several of the Medical Department during the war that I could scan.
