Hello
I am Richard "Dick" Carlson USN (Ret), CTR1. Stationed on the USS BENNINGTON CVA-20 (TAD from NavRadSta, Kami, Seya, Japan) from 11/55 to 4/56.
I am the Assistant Editor for Special Publications for NCVA (Naval Cryptologic Veterans Association) which currently, publishing a HISTORY BOOK (2nd volume) this year.
We also produce an annual calendar. The 2008-2009 calendar features Navy Ships upon which Naval Security Group personnel worked.
I need to find the USS BENNINGTON ship's patch. I would like to purchase it. It will be scanned and used with the photo of the USS Bennington, CVA-20. Could you assist me in locating one?
Feel free to use this photo on your web site. I purchased it aboard the USS Bennington in November 1955 while attached to COMCARDIV ONE staff.
