Sir:
I served with VS-33 as an enlisted flight crewman from Jan 66 to Jan 69.
The pilot of NT-17 was flown by Ike Garcia of San Antonio.
I found him about two years ago.
He told me that the reason the right plane is so far away from the others is
because he did not like to fly that close.

Bill,
I was a crew member in one of those four VS-33 aircraft the day the pictures were taken, although I can't remember which one I was in.
A bit of trivia, a fellow VS-33 squadron member, Patrick Dowd, designed the VS-33 Screwbird logo.
I have several pictures of events on and around the Bennington and VS-33 in 1966 & 1967 I'd be willing to share.
