The new and improved (?) USS Bennington patrolling the streets of Bennington, Vt. followed by a loyal and gallant crew.
Believe it or not, we won a trophy for 2nd best float in the parade!!!!
Not bad, considering we were in line in back of a tank, and in front of a bunch of Navy Sea Bees, and underneath an Air Guard flyover of F 16's!
(Of course, it didn't hurt any when we passed the judges stand, and they were wearing USS Bennington Honorary Crewmember T shirts!!!)
