The officers and crew of the USS Bennington will attend two (2) performances of "This Is Cinerama", July 20 & August 3, 1954, at the Warner Theater. The performances will begin at 5:30 pm, with over 1,600 naval personnel and their guests attending each showing.
The USS Bennington is at Brooklyn Naval Yard undergoing repairs to the damage suffered in a fire and explosion at sea that took over 100 lives last May 26th. Special arrangements have been made at the Warner for accommodations of the injured personnel who will attend the performances.
