You have no idea how touched I was when I found your web page....by mistake I might add (what luck!!!). I was on-board the Benny-boat during her decommissioning in Bremerton, Washington and although the working conditions were somewhat primitive, I look fondly back to those days. I regret that I didn't know about her ceremony and sale to India. I would have attended the event in Bremerton in 1991. Oh well, the memories are intact.
Again, thank you for the trip down memory lane.
