Bobby Quinn has a USS Bennington pick up with Massachusetts CVA 20 (Oh yes, Bobby's wife Patsy has USS Ben on her license plates)  Bruce Bell, in Santa Rosa, Ca. has California CV20 LSO ( Bruce was Landing Signal Officer during WW 2 )  Our Bennington Historian, Joe Pires has Massachusetts CVS 20  Hi all, Found this picture of Bill Englert and I in Nov of 2000, 7 months before Bill died of Lymphoma. Note Bills California liscense plate 1 CVS20. Bill and I were shipmates in E div from 1963-66. Jack Nelson, Laguna Woods, Ca  Bob Hadley has North Carolina license plate CVS 20 E (E for E division )  Joe Pires, Our Historian, has North Carolina license plate SK3CVS20 (Storekeeper 3rd)  Mike Ponto has New York CVS 20  And here is Missouri CVS 20  HOWDY I would like to present The Official Montana USS Bennington Fleet. the original beater (CV 20), The work horse, often referred to as the Mississippi Queen, she is a stern wheeler (CVA 20), and The Current Flagship (CVS 20).
